Health Is Systemic
Traditional Chinese Medicine views the body as an interconnected system in which physical, emotional, and environmental factors continuously influence one another. Rather than chasing isolated symptoms, we focus on correcting root imbalances that affect the entire system.

Services We Offer
At Midwest Medicine & Acupuncture, we offer a variety of services that align with your specific health needs. We aim to promote healing and harmony within the body.
Acupuncture & Electroacupuncture
Our acupuncture therapy aims to restore the proper flow of energy in your body, providing relief from various ailments, including chronic pain, stress, and anxiety.

Acupressure is a therapeutic technique rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses targeted finger pressure on specific points of the body to promote circulation, relieve tension, and restore balance. This non-invasive treatment supports pain relief, stress reduction, improved sleep, and overall wellness by stimulating the body’s natural healing response.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion involves burning a herb called mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) near or on specific acupuncture points on the body. The heat from the burning mugwort is believed to stimulate circulation, promote the flow of qi (vital energy), and support healing. It can be applied directly on the skin (with protective barriers) or indirectly using moxa sticks or cones. Moxibustion is often used to alleviate pain, boost immunity, and address conditions like cold hands and feet, digestive issues, or even to turn breech babies before birth.
Gua Sha
A time-honored TCM technique that gently scrapes the skin to improve circulation, release tension, and promote natural healing. Ideal for reducing muscle stiffness, boosting energy flow, and supporting overall wellness
